For criminalized survivors of intimate partner violence, the fight for justice often lasts far beyond trial. This webinar features Cindene Pezzell, Director of the National Defense Center for Criminalized Survivors at BWJP, discussing legal strategies and practical frameworks to challenge convictions and secure freedom for incarcerated survivors, including traditional PCR/habeas corpus, “survivor justice” relief, parole, and clemency. The conversation wraps up with some examples of survivors who obtained post-conviction relief via various pathways. Watch this webinar to learn about tools, strategies, and approaches needed to help criminalized survivors access justice.
